The journey was long, difficult and very exhausting. Travelling for hours on foot while dodging the senses of those who might recognize me had never been one of my prime abilities. 

Each moment was full of fear. I didn't risk letting my guard down even for an instant.

When the day had ended, I felt lucky to be alive and well.
